New systems mean exciting times ahead

BOX-IT South Midlands, a leading records management company, is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Launched by Edward Smith in January 1997 with one warehouse and an office based in his family home, the company that prides itself on traditional customer service values, coupled with the very highest level of quality, has established a large customer base with business of all sizes over the past 20 years.

With a proven track record and a consistent drive for excellence Box-it has grown year on year, now occupying 11 warehouses across three locations in Northamptonshire totalling over 72,000 sq ft of storage space. Box-it employs 25 local staff and utilises the market leading track-and-trace and scanning software along with the very best equipment available across all services.

Box-it offer an extensive range of document management services, including hard copy document storage and retrieval, document scanning on both bulk scanning or on an ad-hoc scan on demand basis, and end of life confidential on-site/off-site shredding.

Box-it continues to invest, with a recent office renovation and extension, new state-of-the-art scanners and a huge investment as a group in to ODM. The ODM system is a cut down version of the award-winning Omnidox product, built and developed in house. This means the ability for fast efficient development of a market leading product which can cater for business of all sizes. ODM will allow even the smallest of business to get their foot on the ladder of an Electronic Document Management system, a web-based electronic archive allowing access from anywhere in the world to which clients can archive direct from their pc or laptop, as well as request Box-it to scan on demand physical documents from archive within hours. Clients can also be safe in the knowledge that ODM is hosted in the UK with the highest standards of secure data centres.
