THE wait is finally over for those people wondering what business is behind the bright orange landmark building next to Tesco in Wellingborough.

Lok’nStore provides self-storage to households and businesses across the region with spaces available ranging from the size of a pallet to the size of a tennis court. The company’s latest store, located on Whitworth Way, Wellingborough, is a purpose-built storage centre offering 45,000 square feet of self-storage options.
The centre, with its bright orange livery, is next door to Tesco Extra on Victoria Park and offers local household and business customers a low cost, secure self-storage option.
Lok’nStore already has 29 self-storage centres across the South and Midlands, including two in Northampton at Riverside Retail Park and Quorn Way. A further six are in the pipeline including further investment in the local area with a brand-new purpose-built storage centre in Bedford, due to open during 2019.
The centre directly employs four members of staff and will also support local employers with a cost-effective way of scaling their businesses – good news for the local economy all round.
Centre Manager, Mark Petit, said: “We are really excited to be opening our doors in Wellingborough. We have served the people of Northamptonshire since 2001 and through the experience of our two centres in Northampton it was clear there was the demand for a similar facility in Wellingborough.
“The centre looks great and there is a real buzz in an around Wellingborough. We have fantastic interest in space already and with our opening offer of free storage I think it’s a great time to come down to the centre and see it for yourself.”
