ORDERING has always been a straightforward process at Emfast Limited, with customers choosing to phone or email their requirements – but the firm’s new e-shop takes convenience to a new level.
A general product overview has been available on the company’s website for some time, allowing customers to find exactly what they need before ordering for next-day delivery or trade counter collection.
Now, with just a couple of clicks, the items needed can be bought and paid for quickly and efficiently. The new website also gives regular customers access to individual portals that enables the downloading of copy invoices, statements etc. at the click of a button. A stock control system for regular customers ensures that supplies are automatically topped up or restocked as and when necessary.
Dee Legg, Director of Emfast, which is based on the Finedon Lane Industrial Estate in Wellingborough, said: “Our updated website includes a new e-shop that takes all the effort out of placing an order. Some customers prefer to email us or pick up the phone, and that’s fine, but we think most of them will find that it’s much more convenient now to order online.”
The Finedon Road Industrial Estate firm supplies a complete range of fasteners and fixings including nuts, bolts, screws and rivets both blind and solid type as well as associated engineering adhesives, abrasives, hand tools, lubricants, safety wear and construction fixings. Other products include clinch fasteners for sheet steel, such as rivet nuts, capacitive discharge weld studs and self clinch nuts and studs.
Dee added: “All products have a photograph and a description so that customers can find exactly what they need before they order through the e-shop.
“The range is so vast that people need to be sure they are ordering exactly what they need. We’ve always been here to advise, and we still will be, but online is the way people prefer to shop now.”
In addition to the website, there’s a busy trade counter at the Sanders Road site where customers can drop in to pick up what they require.
