COMMERCIAL dealer, TruckEast Limited is accredited once again by Alcumus SafeContractor for its unwavering commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety in the workplace.

TruckEast prides itself on its service offering to its regional customer base that spans a variety of industries. With 13 Scania dealerships, one Isuzu service centre, vehicle maintenance units and trailer maintenance sites, health and safety standards are crucial to TruckEast's ever growing infrastructure.

Its Wellingborough site alone operates 24 hours six-days a week, with just under 80 employees and offers a diverse range of services including all makes commercial vehicle repair and maintenance, accident repair centre, a full size ATF lane, tacho centre, truck wash, vehicle sales and a comprehensive parts store.

Therefore, the utilisation of good risk management and having stringent policies in place as everyday practice is key.

Compliance and HR General Manager, Helen Moore said: "Delivering the highest possible standards of health and safety is taken very seriously at TruckEast. Our aim as a business is to keep our customers moving and our health and safety standards and procedures enable us to do this in the safest possible way for all involved."

As part of the accreditation scheme, TruckEast underwent a thorough vetting process that examined health and safety procedures and historical records over the last 12 months. Having held the SafeContractor accreditation for some years now, TruckEast are proud to display the seal of approval, once again, that recognises it as an accredited safety compliant contractor.
