TOP celebrity chefs including ‘master of the wok’ Ken Hom OBE, ‘the nation’s favourite French chef’ Jean-Christophe Novelli, ‘queen of couture cakes’_Mich Turner MBE and MasterChef winner Natalie Coleman will be appearing at Althorp Food & Drink Festival on 11 and 12 May.

The Festival is set to showcase over 100 diverse and inspiring food and drink stands, as well as staging live music and show-stopping demonstrations suitable for the whole family.

As an exciting new addition for 2019, guests can now gain a unique opportunity to learn from the best with 90-minute cooking smasterclasses taught by headlining chefs for just 16 participants. These masterclasses give festival-goers a chance to get up close and personal with their favourite chefs, learning tips and techniques first-hand with their expert guidance. There are a variety of masterclasses taking place over the weekend including Chinese cookery with Ken Hom, classic French cuisine with Jean-Christophe Novelli and cake decorating with Mich Turner.

As well as a range of cookery classes, the festival will also feature a number of drinks masterclasses throughout the weekend. This includes a Cocktail-Making Masterclass where participants can learn to make their favourite tipple and a Champagne Occasions Masterclass with expert-led tastings.

The festival even features kids cookery classes, including pizza making, scone baking and biscuit decorating. Mini MasterChefs can try their hand at cooking like a pro with MasterChef winner Natalie Coleman’s Kids Masterclass.
