Reflecting a European style

STYLISH freestanding kitchen ranges are one of the latest temptations for customers of The Furniture Quarter.

The Northampton-based showroom is finding growing demand for the kitchen furniture which reflects a European style of design rather than the more traditional fitted ranges in the United Kingdom.

Customers are discovering massive advantages with freestanding furniture. There is no need for costly, disruptive and complicated kitchen work and, apart from plumbing in the sink unit, it is simply a matter of arranging the furniture.

This style also complements attractive appliances such as designer fridge freezers, cookers and washing machines with pieces such as the wine racks, larder units and islands. Many of the islands are available in a variety of sizes with oak and granite finishes.

Store manager Stan Jones, said: “It is great to bring some new and exciting products in for our customers and the ranges have already had great feedback. Myself and our new recruit Caroline Hubbard, who recently joined the retail team, are really looking forward to displaying these ranges in the store.”

Furniture Quarter opened in Northampton in late 2015 following the success of their Kettering-based Furniture Centre, established in 2000. Both businesses supply domestic and commercial furniture to various sectors such as leisure parks, the public sector, hotels and conference venues. They manufacture many of their own products in the UK and can provide bespoke made to measure furniture for a variety of projects.
