KETTERING business associates are working together to put on a food and drink extravaganza for the county.
On Sunday 2 June, the team will be a hosting Northamptonshire’s Good Food and Drink Festival for all the family to enjoy at Kettering Park Hotel, and celebrating the successes of food and drink suppliers and small businesses in the area.
The organisers, Kerry Bate from Polka Dot Events, Simon Cox from Red Octagon and Andrew Hollett from Kettering Park Hotel and Spa, are gearing up to provide an incredible day of glorious and mouthwatering food and drink delights for everyone to enjoy and savour.
Kerry explained: “This event is the first of its kind for the north of the county and we are honoured to be asked to deliver this for Kettering and Northamptonshire as a whole.
“It is so important that we give local businesses a suitable arena to allow them to display and share their culinary delights and to highlight the great work of producers and distributors of food and drink in our region.
“There will be an array of examples and samples on display to view and try, alongside other attractions on the day to be enjoyed in a sociable and relaxed environment at the hotel.
“Enjoyment found in food and drink plays a major part in our lives and we want to celebrate the diversity and creativity of our food suppliers and this will give people the opportunity to find out more about the process of the food from its source to our dinner plates.”
Everybody’s needs will be catered for on the day with suppliers catering for people with allergies, and intolerances as well vegans and vegetarians.
Kerry added: “It is all very exciting that we can put on such an event and we look forward to greeting all our exhibitors and visitors on the first Sunday in June with the back drop of the stunning hotel grounds.”
