THE Palmichael's popular wine tasting evenings are an opportunity for the team at the award-winning restaurant to showcase their work.
A delicious six-course tasting menu is currently being created for the wine tasting on Tuesday, 4 February. The £49 per head tickets, now on sale, will be an opportunity to sample six specially chosen wines to complement each course.
The quarterly event reflects the team's commitment to ensure the restaurant is the place to meet, whether it is to talk business, a night out to celebrate with friends or simply a good catch up over lunch.
The evening will start with a glass of bubbly and an introduction from their wine expert before the team headed up by Chef Michael Palmiero will serve the dishes at the restaurant in Burton Latimer's High Street.
Only the best quality Italian and British ingredients are used to create the dishes which helped The Palmichael win the Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food & Drinks Awards Restaurant of the Year in 2016/2017 and for the second time in 2018/2019. Chef David Smith was also a finalist in the Young Chef of the Year 2019/2020.
Maria Walker said: "We are very proud of our reputation built over 39 years. It is very important to us that we offer new exciting ideas but continue to build on the years of experience we have - excellent customer service and fresh-tasting food remain our priorities."
Throughout the years the restaurant has developed classic signature dishes which have earned a place under the Palmichael Classic section. Another favourite is the Leggero menu which offers two courses for £14 per person on Monday to Thursday evenings, excluding steak nights.
