Another year, more jobs up for grabs

HOME Instead Senior Care, which provides care to people in their own homes in East Northants and North Bedfordshire has announced the creation of 100 new jobs for the year ahead in a major recruitment drive starting this month.

The need to employ more carers in the local area is a reflection of a national trend which is a result of the ageing population. A recent report from AGE UK states that the number of over 85s in the UK is set to double in the next 20 years and nearly treble in the next 30.

Mark Darnell, owner of Home Instead, said: “We are receiving more and more calls from local people and family members looking for home care, and our business has grown significantly as a result.

“Our CAREGivers come from all walks of life. They span the generations and have a wide variety of hobbies, interests and experience. But they all share one thing, the desire to make a difference to someone’s life.

“For people with no prior experience, we provide a full training programme so anyone who is interested in a rewarding career in the growing sector should get in touch. It is the unique and high-quality, personal service that has allowed us to grow so quickly and create these jobs in the local area.”

Home Instead has been providing at-home care for individuals in East Northants and the surrounding area for eight years. For more information call 01933 678775 or visit www.homeinstead.co.uk/eastnorthants
