Memento Exclusives is an innovative British company located in Northampton. They take race-used, retired parts from Formula One cars and transform them into retail products and corporate gifts for fans to own.
Inspired to start his business when working as a mechanic in the pit lanes of Formula One, Barry Gough saw the branded pens, caps and bags which were purchased by fans and given and spotted a gap in the market for something considerably more innovative:
“Our products offer motorsport fans the chance to own a tangible piece of Formula One. This is the ultimate memorabilia – transforming race-used Formula One parts into Christmas 2013 was a big success for the Memento Exclusives online sales; top-selling gifts included race-used F1 wheel rims transformed into tables and keychains made from smaller F1 car components, such as race-used bearings.
The most recent additions to the ‘upcycled’ F1 collection are these stunning clocks made out of F1 Brake Discs and F1 Gear Ratios. With a touch of Memento’s design expertise, these former Formula One car components are transformed into impressive style statements for the home. The Brake Disc clock still features the original titanium bolts and bell, with the clock-mechanism mounted onto a carbon fibre insert. Polished to a sparkle, the race-used gear ratio still features its original unique engraved component identifiers and is mounted onto a recycled acrylic stand.
All of Memento Exclusives’ premium race-used products are hand-made and produced within the UK; the majority within Northampton itself.
