Trainee celebrates her step up career ladder

Trainee lawyer Beth Kay has passed the distinguished Chartered Institute of Legal Executives exams. Beth, who works in the wills and probate team at Northamptonshire law firm Wilson Browne Solicitors, completed her Level Six CILEx exams to qualify as a graduate member of the association.

She is the first of several employees at the firm taking a different route to qualify, choosing not to attend university but starting at the firm in the new enquiries team. Beth pictured joined Wilson Browne in 2017 and was then offered a fully funded exam place, allowing her to access specialist law training while working in the wills and probate team.

“The support from the firm has been fantastic allowing me to study while gaining experience within my role in the wills and probate team,” said Beth. “I am immensely proud of my achievements and thrilled to have become a graduate member of Institute of Chartered Legal Executives.”

CILEx is a professional association of more than 20,000 Chartered Legal Executives lawyers, paralegals and legal practitioners in England and Wales.
