HOWES Percival’s corporate team has successfully advised the shareholders of Cambridgeshire-based Fen Technology in relation to the acquisition of the business by Tecnologias Avanzadas Inspiralia S.L (Inspiralia).
Fen Technology Limited is a leading electronics design services firm which provides innovative hardware and software design solutions to leading commercial customers around the world. From project planning, system architecture and specification through to design implementation, Fen’s team of experienced engineers work alongside well-known household names such as Bosch, Schlumberger and Casella on new and innovative concepts and products, all the way from concept to testing and mass production.
Inspiralia, a Spanish-based product development business already offers product development services, innovation strategy, technical development and market launch for products. However, the acquisition recognises the strength of Fen’s design services business and its dedicated team of product engineers with the intention that both businesses will complement each other in the future. Inspiralia have employed Patrick Nicholson as Fen’s Managing Director, with Ciaran McAleer, Paul Buggs and Niels Tjørnhøj-Thomsen continuing in executive roles with the business.
The shareholders of Fen Technology were advised by corporate specialist, Gerald Couldrake, assisted by Matt Thompson (corporate), Jenna Bruce (intellectual property) and Ben Mousley (commercial property).
