US company ACF Technologies Inc. has acquired customer service solutions provider Q-nomy (UK) Ltd, with assistance from law firm Hewitsons.
ACF is a leading provider of technologies that help organisations to improve their customer services, including queue management, appointment scheduling and feedback systems.
Woking-based Q-nomy (UK) Ltd is the UK subsidiary of Q-nomy Inc., a top global provider of omni-channel customer journey and customer experience optimisation software. Its clients include government departments and NHS trusts.
The acquisition gives ACF its first foothold in the UK, which the company will also use to move further into Europe, enabling it to better serve these markets.

“With Q-nomy (UK), we saw a great opportunity to acquire a footprint within the UK and serve as a launchpad into Europe.”

Hewitsons, which has offices in Northampton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge and London, acted for ACF in the deal, handling the acquisitions of shares.
The work was referred to the firm from Hutchinson, a fellow member of Law Exchange International (LEI), which is a global network of trusted independent law firms that Hewitsons founded in 1994.
