WILSON Browne Solicitors have promoted James Dent to an Associate within their growing Company Commercial Team, based in the Northampton office, with effect from 1 July.
James’ promotion comes as part of the firm’s drive to expand the firm’s commercial team members. James only joined Wilson Browne from a major regional practice in July last year and his rapid promotion reflects the quick success he has achieved within a short period of time.
Whilst working at Wilson Browne, James has worked on a range of corporate transactions from the purchase of an electricity generator business, the reorganisation and demerger of a group of companies to hive out different trading activities, as well as the sale of a company in the construction sector to a French multinational for £10m.
Additionally James has provided commercial advice to a number of local and national businesses on a variety of matters including improvements to their terms and conditions, issues relating to suppliers and the impact of the introduction of GDPR.
