Fun in a cloud of colour

A TEAM from Borneo Martell Turner Coulston together with their children took part in the 5km Colour Run at Overstone Park in Northampton to raise money for Cynthia Spencer Hospice.

The hospice which is jointly funded by the charity and the NHS provides both inpatient and outpatient care, Hospice at Home, lymphoedema service and specialist palliative care services.

It was the charity’s fourth year of running the event and it was very well attended; runners sporting multi coloured wigs, tutus and other costumes ready to ‘getmessy4Cynthia’ as competitors threw paint powder at each other and were covered in it as they ran past the paint stations on the route around the park.

The children in the Borneo Martell Turner Coulston team immediately got into the spirit of the event; taking the opportunity to warm up by chasing the adults round on the grass to make sure that they were technicoloured before the start.

The weather was dry and fair and everyone made it round the course well before the forecast rain set in. Borneo Martell Turner Coulston is delighted to say that so far over £1,300 has been raised for this fantastic cause and everyone had great fun in the process.
