New business health check service launched

THERE are so many aspects to running a business that it’s easy to lose track.

Contracts of varying sorts with other businesses, supplier agreements, leases, employment contracts, terms, conditions, policies and procedures… the list is endless. As a result it’s all too easy to ‘set and forget’.

When was the last time you reviewed these? Are you up to date, confident in your systems, sure that your cash flow is protected? Have you dealt with the changes in Data Protection legislation? Do you have written agreements with any business partners/shareholders/ directors? Put off by the endless legal fees? Is there an easier way?

Kevin Rogers, partner, said: “At Wilson Browne Solicitors we appreciate that information is power, and that choice is paramount. Not every business has the same needs, and not every need is necessarily identified right now. Just as we tailor our advice to each individual client’s circumstances, we appreciated that businesses themselves needed a way to pick and choose the right level of legal service for them. That’s why I am really pleased to announce our new bespoke Business Health Check.

“We understand the need to budget, and so, for a limited time, we have put together a selection of our most popular Business Health Check items. We decided to offer clients the choice, from any one, three or more areas of their business, to get an in-depth review of what is there, what is missing, what works, what doesn’t and what we could do about it. That fixed price starts at just £550 plus VAT, and sits in a simple, clear, pricing structure with no hidden surprises. We have even been able to factor in a range of discounts on future legal work. It is such a popular offering among clients already; the clear pricing structure really helps.”

This is a perfect time to review trading terms and conditions; director, shareholder, partnership and LLP agreements; asset protection and funding; GDPR, credit control and account handling policies; corporate structure (including memorandum and articles of association); employment contracts; employment policies; business tenancies… and yes Brexit! If the only thing you do is check your trading terms, internal agreements and employment contracts in the light of Brexit and GDPR you will have put your business in a much safe place for 2018 and beyond.
