Solicitors deliver more to pallet firm

WILSON Browne Solicitors was delighted to act for prestigious client United Pallet Network in its upcoming central hub relocation.

Tom Warrender and the Commercial Property Team helped to facilitate the deal which sees UPN move to modernised premises at Fradley Park as part of its continued growth.

Timings for the deal are critical and Tom’s role was to ensure that the move can progress with minimal disruption to the ever-expanding business.

Scheduled for spring 2020, the move is driven by the growth projections and operational development strategy of UPN, which requires more modern and expansive facilities close to its current base.

Prior to the move, over £2m is being invested in the new facility to ensure that it fully meets the needs of the specialised UPN operation both now and in the future.

Tom Warrender, Partner and Head of Commercial Property at Wilson Browne Solicitors said:

“UPN is a long-standing and valued client for which we have acted over many years. Their continued growth and success is a delight for us to witness and we are proud to be a part of that growth. Helping them achieve that, through assisting with their commercial property needs, and also through providing broader commercial law advice, remains a pleasure.”

Martyn Chapman Founder and Chairman of UPN said: “Both myself and David Brown, our MD, worked closely with Tom Warrender and his team for many months with regard to finalising this deal. UPN has been a client of Wilson Browne for over 18 years now and we have always found them to be professional and efficient with their advice. We work closely with several of their partners at the firm with regard to commercial law, employment law, trusts, property and trade marks. They are an integral part of our extended management team.”

“The UPN Board of Directors are extremely excited about this move and the significant potential for growth and expansion that it will bring for both us and our network,” said David Brown. “This move and level of investment will allow us to continue to be recognised as a high quality, member focussed UK pallet network.”

Established in 2001, UPN has grown steadily into a high-quality palletised freight distribution network. Focused on growth through member success UPN currently has over 90 members covering the whole of the UK with European partners providing coverage throughout 26 countries worldwide.
