HOWES Percival LLP solicitors held their annual Christmas Quiz evening on 9 December at Northampton’s Picturedrome for a sell-out audience of 23 teams of quiz fans.
Teams were made up of professionals from local companies including PWC, Bidwells, Grant Thornton, Howkins & Harrison, Santander, NatWest, Drake, Cottons, Budworth Hardcastle, BRI, CS2, Weatherbys, Elsby, MacIntyre Hudson, ACS, Cave and Sons and Towergate. Team names were diverse and included Let’s Get Quizzical, We Thought This Was Speed Dating! and the Shy Teds.
The overall winners were accountants PwC’s A-Team who won 67.5 points out of a possible 90. A good evening was had by all.
The annual event, which raises important funds for local charity, has gathered a committed following over the past few years. This year’s event was held in support of local charity Headway who offers specialist, social and therapeutic activities on a daily basis for those that have sustained traumatic or acquired brain injury.?
