LEADING firm of accountants, tax and business advisers, MHA MacIntyre Hudson, is delighted to announce further growth in its VAT team with the arrival of Glyn Edwards who has been appointed as a VAT Director.
Glyn has over 25 years’ experience in VAT, originally with HMRC and then with the professional advisory firm, CCH. He has also worked as a lecturer for the leading training provider, Kaplan Hawksmere, delivering courses on VAT for Accounts Payable Staff and on International VAT issues. Glyn is a Chartered Tax Adviser and brings with him a particular expertise in the VAT treatment of land and property transactions.
He is experienced in VAT dispute resolution and litigation and has successfully supported taxpayers through the difficulties of enquiries and appeals, including to higher levels of the tribunals and courts.
