Home is where the art is

GRANGE Mortgages has given budding young artists the chance to win a PlayStation 4 games console.

The Northampton-based mortgage broker invited children aged 12 or under to draw a picture of where they live and submit it to the company – the best drawings are now on its website at www.grangemortgages.com for an online public vote. The picture that receives the most votes will win the fabulous prize.

Daniel Mumford, Company Director at Grange Mortgages, said: “We love coming up with different ways to interact with our local community. Every day we help families secure, not just properties, but homes for their children. These are the places where children feel safe, form friendships with other children in their street, and make memories that last a lifetime.

“By opening this competition up to young people, we get to see their homes through their eyes and how important bricks and mortar can be. Buying a house and turning it into a home is a hugely significant and personal experience. Even as adults we always look back on the houses we grew up in with fondness.”

Grange Mortgages, established in 2005, provides expert mortgage advice for people looking to buy a new home, particularly in the new-build sector. It also helps those refinancing their existing property or looking to arrange an insurance product, through its range of specialist consultants.
