Potential occupiers in talks ahead of construction work
The developer of the WD.BOXHUB site in Northampton has completed the acquisition of a second site in the town.
The WD.BOXHUB scheme on Deer Park Road, Moulton Park, has reached practical completion, with five units under offer and four still available.
Now developer Warmflame Developments has purchased a site at Anglia Way on Moulton Park industrial estate.
“We were confident that our high-quality product would appeal to the local market, especially as there is a clear lack of freehold opportunities to meet occupier demand,” said Warmflame Developments’ development director Stuart Mair.
“We are absolutely delighted to have five units under offer and are confident that the last remaining four units will be either sold or let very quickly after the practical completion of the scheme.”
The WD.BOXHUB scheme has confirmed the strength of demand, which is why the company has purchased the site in Anglia Way to create more supply, he added.
“The acquisition of this site only completed in November and we are already in detailed negotiations with a number of parties in respect of the units that we plan to develop,” Mr Mair said.
“This is further testament to the current strength of the industrial market in the Northampton area.”
