Gaining extra, vital skills

INDIVIDUALS who are likely to be the first to respond to an emergency at work are gaining extra skills through a new qualification being delivered by FS Training.

There is growing demand for the L3 Award in First Response Emergency Care from organisations across a wide range of sectors including security, construction, motor sports and higher risk environments.

These include the University of Northampton, which funded all its security staff to undertake the pre-hospital care qualification.

FS Training, formed in 1999, provides comprehensive, high quality, cost effective training packages in all aspects of First Aid to businesses, schools and dentists.

First Aid at Work Refresher course £130+VAT per person: 10-11 May; 14-15 June; 12-13 July

Emergency First Aid £75+VAT per person: 9 May; 13 June, 3 July.

Kettering

First Aid at Work, £210+VAT per person: 14-16 May; 12-14 June; and 11-13 July

First Aid at Work Refresher course £130+VAT per person: 17-18 May; 18-19 June and 5-6 July

Emergency First Aid £75+VAT per person: 11 May; 11 June; 9 July and 2 August

FS Training Director Felice Santoriello, who works as one of the county’s paramedics, said: “We use the very best instructors and assessors who have the experience and subject expertise to deliver the courses. This means the training is up-to-date, relevant and practical.
