BOSWORTH Independent College were extremely proud to host the British Council International Agents Fair in April. Bosworth Hall opened its doors to welcome 23 education agents from all over the world and 26 schools from across the UK.
The aim of the day was to showcase UK Education and for agents to forge strong links with schools from around the country. Bosworth began with a presentation and a full tour of the college, then from 10am agents took up pre-booked appointments with the other schools in the function room, breaking for lunch and then returning for more appointments in the afternoon. Catering was provided throughout the day with refreshments and snacks available, so visitors had areas to relax, enjoy a coffee and to catch up on emails.
The fair proves a convenient way for agents to meet a variety of schools quickly and easily in one place, but obviously Bosworth had the advantage of hosting and letting agents see all their facilities including the boarding accommodation as well as sampling lunch from the college restaurant. With really positive feedback from the agents, schools and British Council members, the college was pleased it had been a successful event.
The day ended on a high with a three-course meal at the historic Holdenby House (a stunning setting which you may have seen in a recent TV production of Great Expectations) which proved a real treat for all involved and Bosworth students, Laura, Matthew and Dara gave an accomplished music performance to get the evening under way. The college was keen that the agents departed from a memorable evening after a very productive day.
The college is also grateful to the British Council for choosing it to host, it was great to partner with them and to have the chance to promote Bosworth Independent College.
