A healthy addition to the portfolio

HEALTH and wellbeing, fitness and welfare are all words that are becoming more and more common, both at home and in the workplace.

Jo Tressler, Head of Employee Benefits at BHIB Insurance Brokers explains more:

“Greater emphasis is now falling on businesses to provide their employees with access to benefits that will help them lead healthier lifestyles. Employers are encouraged to support staff in understanding their health in general, and ultimately provide support both financially and emotionally when needed.

“BHIB’s Employee Benefits team are always on hand to offer assistance and advice in this area, but now we have a new tool in our toolbox thanks to an exciting new player in the Health Insurance market.

“Through our exciting partnership with Equipsme (underwritten by AXA PPP Healthcare) we are able provide a new range of health insurance plans, providing cover from a minimum of two to 249 employees.

“Premiums starts from just £7 per month per employee, and will provide GP access 24/7, a nurse helpline, and cover for physiotherapy and health checks. Cover can also be increased to include diagnostic tests and treatment.

“There are four levels of cover with options to include dental and optical cover and a stress support package. The premium is based on the level of benefit, and does not differ on the number or age of the employees you are looking to cover.

This is no ordinary policy. Cover is not to be confused with Private Medical Insurance or a Health Cash Plan, which are both very popular employee benefits in their own right. The Equipsme plans offer business owners a new solution for their employees, which is both simple to administer and affordable.”
