TO enable it to take advantage of its continued growth and expansion, employment law specialists Astons Solicitors has moved to new premises in Northampton, from where the firm will continue to offer help and guidance to clients from across the county and across the UK.

Founded in 1989 and until recently based in Daventry, Astons Solicitors specialises in providing businesses with a complete range of employment law services, from their fixed-fee HRplus scheme through to representing major UK companies at Employment Tribunal.

Now based in Grange Park, Northampton, and looking to grow in size, the family practice, founded 26 years ago by Robin Aston, currently has four solicitors working exclusively in the employment law sector. The team also has its own in-house advocate ensuring all tribunal work can be handled by the practice from start to finish.

While larger firms call upon Astons where legal intervention, advice and often employment tribunal representation is required, the majority of the firm’s work in the SMEs sector is covered by the Firms HRplus service. HRplus is a fixed-fee retainer package that ensures companies have on hand advice from a dedicated specialist solicitor and that their business is compliant in all areas of employment law.

Practice Manager Stacey Aston said: “Employment law is complicated and changes all the time, so it’s important that small companies have the right advice and procedures in place. HRplus offers bespoke advice on a fixed-fee basis so that clients know they are following legal requirements, have someone they can call on as and when they need it, and, as long as they follow our advice, they are covered by our indemnity insurance to cover costs and any awards made against them at tribunal.
