Brilliant new service helping emerging businesses in the county

The double award-winning Networking Group the Business Club Northants is proud to announce a new service for start-up or young businesses namely The New2BusinessClubNorthants.

Sponsored by the University of Northampton, this subsidiary Club offers a 6-monthly series of courses which builds into a comprehensive work reference manual covering all aspects of starting and maintaining a successful business.

Business Club Northants CEO Mike Willis said: “There are many people who take ‘the leap of faith’ to begin a new business who then struggle to find consistent advice, training and on-going support and our new club will provide this and much more.

“There are six member companies of the Business Club Northants who, together with myself, will not only provide comprehensive training but will also become ‘business buddies’ on call should additional help be needed.”

The companies involved are IMC Pro Solutions, Morson Associates, The Learning Academy, KG Graphic Design, Phoenix Training and Aspectus Financial Consultancy.

New2BusinessClubNorthants are offering a six-month membership for just £25+vat per month with monthly meetings being held initially in Northampton.

Initial business networking will be followed by training on different modules covering:

– gaining customers and finding your place in the market;

– customer service and business networking;

– finance and legal issues;

– marketing and communications;

– compliance;

– regulations and safeguarding your business;

– planning, reviewing and development

Professor Nick Petford, Vice Chancellor of the University of Northampton, said: “One of the cornerstones of our mission to transform lives and inspire change is to make Northamptonshire the best county in the UK to start, build and run a business. New2BusinessClub Northants will help the entrepreneurs of tomorrow lay the foundations of success that will see Northamptonshire thrive, and it is with great pride that the University sponsors this initiative.”

Mike added: “We have already enjoyed an excellent relationship with Nick and the University for some years now and our new venture will surely add to this and we look forward to continuing to work closely this year.”

The first meeting is being held on Thursday 15 March at The Marriott Hotel, Eagle Drive, Northampton from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Book at www.thebusinessclubnorthants.co.uk, email or call 01604 529173.
