Changes bring new benefits

MAJOR changes at The Business Club Northants will bring further benefits to members – both new and existing – including a reduction in monthly membership fees.

Mike Willis, CEO of The Business Club Northants and The Business Club Bucks, has released details of a range of new measures to streamline the club’s networking services and give members further value for money.

Included in the plans is the appointment of Yvonne Taylor as Director of both clubs. Her role will see the continued building of the club in terms of networking, training and member benefits.

Mike Willis said: “We’re always looking at ways to add value for members and so we’re introducing a number of changes that will help in that. Yvonne’s appointment will drive things forward and members will see an immediate benefit both in terms of the monthly fees and the services we offer.”

The changes include:

Removal of VAT on membership fees – the club has deregistered from VAT, enabling it to pass on savings on monthly fees. This change will also make a significant difference to new members as it will greatly reduce the joining fee as well.

Ask The Expert – members will be able to benefit from frequent additional 30-minute sessions, to be held before regular meetings, where they will be able to sit down with other members who are experts in specific areas of business, such as marketing, social media or legal experts, and ask them questions.

Monthly meetings – The Business Club Northants will hold two meetings per month rather than three in order to streamline attendance and to ensure increased attendances at each meeting.

Free visits – members of The Business Club Northants will be entitled to four free visits (worth £60) to The Business Club Bucks, and vice versa.

Mike Willis added: “Over the past 12 years we’ve been proud of the value for money we offer to members – the networking, the training and the access to an invaluable database of members plus the many ways in which members can market their business through the Business Club.

“We’re keen to make sure everyone gets the most out of their membership and these changes will help towards that. Our perception is that these are uncertain times, with doubts about what will happen post-Brexit etc. and so we’ve done what we can to give even better value for money, as well as adding additional benefits that will help current members and attract new ones to come along and see why we are so different!”
