With the use of Higham Roofing’s very own Fluke TiR1 IR Fusion Technology thermal imaging camera, we can provide surveys to detect, the overall thermal performance of the roof and its components i.e. rooflights, it can also detect wet, defective insulation as well as areas with a lack of insulation. Quite often the roof is the last part of the building to be thought of, but if it fails it can be the most costly, we like to work with our customers to stop this from happening.
Due to the nature of this service it is non-destructive, scientifically measurable and extremely cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
Thermal Imaging Technology allows only the worst affected areas of the roof to be stripped, maintaining all that is fit for purpose. This provides the following benefits, it is an environmentally friendly process and it means a decreased amount of waste is sent to landfill. It is cost saving to the customer for many reasons, due to the fact we only work on parts of the roof that are defective, there is less labour cost for the customer. We also utilise existing insulation and membranes that are fit for purpose meaning less materials to be purchased overall.
