THE countdown has begun to celebrate the best businesses from across the county.
The 2020 Northamptonshire Business Awards were launched by Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce in February.
The awards are open to all firms in the county and celebrate organisations that have demonstrated excellence in business. The overall Business of the Year winner will receive a cash prize of £10,000.
Northamptonshire Chamber Chief Executive, Paul Griffiths, said: “The Northamptonshire Business Awards are only presented to organisations that have clearly demonstrated all-round business excellence in a range of areas from customer care and staff development through to innovation, exporting or technological advancement.
“Everyone who attended our previous two awards nights in 2018 and 2019 was blown away by the calibre of the finalists and winners. Our 2020 awards night, once again, promises to be a fantastic celebration of our county and its industries. There is no better occasion for firms to showcase their achievements and mix with the finest businesses that our county has to offer so I would urge organisations to make sure they submit their entries before the deadline.
“One category winner will go on to win the top prize of £10,000 and I’m proud to say that previous category winners at our awards have also gone on to achieve success at the regional and national rounds of the British Chambers of Commerce’s Chamber Business Awards.”
The award categories are: Small Business of the Year, High Growth Business of the Year, Best Use of Technology, Workplace Wellbeing Award, Customer Commitment Award, E-Commerce Business of the Year, Exporter of the Year, Employer of the Year, Family Business of the Year and Apprentice of the Year.
The awards are sponsored by acs, Business Data Group, Ellacotts, J motion video productions, PCS Business Systems, PTS Training Academy, Virtual Sales Team, South Northamptonshire Council and the headline sponsors are Wilson Browne Solicitors.
The Northamptonshire Business Awards will culminate with an awards ceremony and dinner at the Park Inn in Northampton on Thursday, 3 September.
