Eat, drink and stay in style

WHETHER it’s a company do, a get-together with friends or a family celebration meal, people will be able to meet, eat, drink and stay at The Olde Coach House (OCH) this Christmas.

In 2014, OCH received an AA 4star rating for its bedroom accommodation and an AA dining award for the quality of its food.

This year, those opting to stay will have the opportunity to experience one of the 11 new boutique bedrooms that have been created in the converted stables.

This year, those opting to stay will have the opportunity to experience one of the 11 new boutique bedrooms that have been created in the converted stables. These individually designed bedrooms are in addition to the existing four en-suite rooms of this country inn and offer the facilities you would expect from a top hotel.

Rooms, including breakfast, are available from £65 from 1 to 23 and 27, 28 and 29 December , while there is a special New Year’s Eve package for £160 per room that includes a Black Tie Dinner and disco, and breakfast the next morning.

The OCH Festive Christmas lunch and dinner menu will be available from 1 to 24 December, as well as a superb Christmas Day menu, Boxing Day menu, while a New Year’s Eve Gourmet Dinner and disco rounds off the festive proceedings.

The lunch menu is served from noon to 2pm and costs £19.95 per person, and the dinner menu is served from 6.30pm to 9pm and costs £24.95 per person.

The Christmas Day menu, which costs £67.50 for adults and £33 for children under 12, will be served from noon to 2pm, and the Boxing Day menu will be served from noon to 5pm, costing £25 for adults and £12.50 for children under 12.

The New Year’s Eve Dinner and disco runs from 7pm until late and includes a three-course gourmet dinner. Tickets for this cost £35 per person.

The OCH is a wonderful alternative to today’s sterile hotels and offers a characterful country pub with low beams, open fires and serving fresh local produce alongside great wines and Cask Marque award winning ales.
