CUBEX Contracts recently completed the installation of a second mezzanine floor for their customer Formwise Washrooms, in their Wellingborough facility.
Formwise, who manufacture and install washrooms, toilet cubicles and vanity units for main contractors within the UK, have seen a rapid growth of their business over the past few years since moving into new premises on Park Farm Industrial Estate, Wellingborough, and realised they were running out of space.
To meet the demands of their growing customer base, Formwise needed to expand production space, thus enabling the business to increase output and fulfil their increasing customer orders, without moving to larger premises.
Cubex Contracts Limited came recommended by a supplier, and representatives from Cubex met with the Formwise Technical Director Tim Jupp back in January 2016 to look at initially installing a small 75 square metre mezzanine to create additional storage space. This was part of a two-phase expansion, the second being the installation in March 2017 of another 349 square metre mezzanine floor, providing additional production space and providing partitioning to form a new meeting and training space.
