Excellent service

GOOD customer service is one of the most important factors for any company to get right.

It’s easier to retain happy customers than find new ones, and clients who are satisfied with the service they received will spread the word, one of the most effective forms of advertising and recommendation.

Lettings and property agency Chelton Brown is sponsoring the Customer Service Award in the inaugural 2016 SME Northamptonshire Business Awards. This is the only category in the awards that is open to a public vote – the best endorsement for such an award.

The winning business will be the one that exceeds customers expectations before, during and after using their services, investing in building long term relationships and providing a service that is consistently outstanding.

Nominations for all the awards are now closed, but voting in the Customer Service Award doesn’t close until 5pm on Thursday, 15 September.

Business Times, along with the Federation of Small Businesses and Stanair Industrial Doors, are the headline sponsors of the event.

Other Northamptonshire businesses supporting the awards as category sponsors include PBC Business Recovery and Insolvency and Wollaston MINI, Northampton Borough Council, Moulton College, Tresham College, Velocity and Northampton Alive.

Commercial property agents Prop-Search are ticket sponsors and Northants Herald and Post are media partners.

The awards represent an opportunity to?support and raise the profile of?industrious, hardworking and enterprising SMEs in the county.

Northamptonshire is home to a wide spectrum of businesses in a range of sectors, with smaller companies being the lifeblood of the county, often working alongside and complementing the major players.
