THE double award winning Networking Group of the Year, the Business Club Northants, will be supporting the Wellingborough-based charity Crazy Hats Breast Cancer Appeal as its chosen charity for 2018.
CEO Mike Willis said: “I was recommended to contact Crazy Hats by a friend of mine who suffers with breast cancer and when I went to meet them in Wellingborough I was immediately struck by the immense dedication and energy of everyone involved.”
The Business Club Northants has supported a different local charity every year for the past 10 years, raising funds from member donations and a variety of charity events during the year. These include a ten pin bowling evening, a summer barbecue held at Isham Cricket Club, a major golf tournament at Wellingborough Golf Course – this year on Wednesday 13 June – and a gala dinner dance.
