The UK economy will grow faster than any of the other G7 countries (Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the USA) at an impressive 2.9 per cent in 2014, which means that all businesses, both locally and nationally, should have a more confident outlook for the next few years leading to increasing orders, profits, investment and expansion.
After many years of stagnation it is expected that wages will rise faster than inflation this year, which should mean that employees find themselves with more money to spend, especially once the recent Budget tax changes take effect.
