Helping with results stress

MANY students across the country will be eagerly awaiting their A-level and GCSE results this summer. For many it can be a tense time as their future plans will rely on the outcome.

Bosworth Independent College is happy to offer impartial advice to any students who may have performed better or worse than their expectations.

Indeed, every year the college gets lots of students, and their parents, through the door because they have not achieved the results they had hoped for at both GCSE and A-level either in their AS or A2 year. In each individual’s case the college will look at what solutions it can offer for a retake or restart option and advise in detail on the best course of action and next steps to take.

With its fresh approach, a willingness to listen and a flexible timetable, the college often finds that students have the confidence to focus on their study plan and succeed at Bosworth. In fact 87 per cent of students achieve either their firm or insurance university choice.?This strategy also enabled the college to come first in the county at A-level for 2015 and to appear in The Telegraph Top 100 Schools in England at A-level.

So, whether you have performed better than expected or missed out on the grades you had hoped for, Bosworth College would like to help. Students may find the one-year GCSE, BTEC, UFP or A-level courses can offer a more flexible plan. It is also excited to be offering a one and two-year BTEC Business Course from September, for those who maybe want to consider a modular approach to learning as opposed to an end of year exam.

Alongside this the college is able to offer scholarship places to outstanding students. The criteria for outstanding is students who have achieved 6A* grades or more at GCSE and they are welcome to visit the college to discuss the options. The college’s study approach and clear guidance for university progression truly helps students to achieve the top UK universities and the most competitive degree courses.
