WHITTLEBURY Park’s Wedding Team has been announced as East Midlands Regional Winners for the category of Best Event Team at The Wedding Industry Awards 2020.
Whittlebury has been welcoming couples since 1992 and the team host over 70 weddings per year in one or more of their four self-contained venues, all of which are located within the 700-acre estate. The team work with each couple from initial enquiry to the day itself, and their outstanding effort and attention to detail to ensure each wedding is unforgettable has been recognised by the industry with this award win.
The Wedding Industry Awards are the only regional and national client voted awards in the wedding industry and the East Midlands Regional Finals were held in November at the Pumping House in Newark. Whittlebury’s Wedding Team attended the event with a host of other wedding industry suppliers and were incredibly proud to have achieved such acknowledgement from the awards panel and also the public.
Head of Event Sales, Emma Hayes, was thrilled with the result: “Every Whittlebury wedding is very much a team effort with lots of people involved. We strive to understand and bring to life each couple’s vision, no matter how unique or bespoke their ideas are – which is always exciting and rewarding. Part of the process for the award submission was providing testimonials from our couples and so many mentioned how perfect their day was and that everyone went above and beyond. This is a credit to our entire team from our Head of Weddings and Wedding Coordinator to the food and beverage staff.”
The next step of the awards process will be the National Final on Wednesday 15 January at Cafe de Paris in London where the Whittlebury Wedding Team hopes to achieve National Winners status.
