In November, the Thrapston company once again sponsored the Restaurant of the Year category of the Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards, which saw The Palmichael in Burton Latimer take the title for the second time, having also won it in 2016.
Vita Whitaker, Director of Whitco, said: “The standard of entry was so high and it was a very difficult decision for the judges but we were absolutely thrilled for The Palmichael. I hope they build on this and really drive forward because they really have something special there.
“Our aim for 2019 is to build our links with SMEs in the county. I always say that my own time is not billable, I am happy to give advice and guidance in any way I can to help a company. Whitco has worked on major projects around the UK and I can use that to the benefit of small, local firms.”
