A THRIVING energy consultancy is moving to Corby to enable it to build on its nationwide success.

Utility Bidder’s relocation plan, which includes creating 50 jobs, is the next exciting chapter for the business, which was set up in Market Harborough in 2009.

In just six years, the team, under the leadership of Managing Director James Longley, have built an extensive network with businesses across the UK needing support with services including gas, electricity, telecoms, merchant services and business finance.

The move to offices at the Pearson Academy on Bangrave Road, Corby, will give the business an opportunity to extend its services, which include the recently acquired UB Financial.

James has wasted no time in getting involved in Corby’s community. Utility Bidder is already a sponsor of newly promoted Corby Town FC and is working with a range of business organisations including Electric Corby, Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce and Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership.

James explained: “We are looking forward to another exciting chapter for Utility Bidder and the relocation reflects the rapid expansion of the business. It is such an exciting time and we are very much looking forward to getting more involved with the Corby community.

“We’re really delighted to be sponsoring Corby Town Football Club this season and we are enthusiastic about being part of the Corby business network.
“It is a fantastic opportunity for us to be part of a thriving community and have no doubt about the potential the Corby possesses.”

NEP has given invaluable support to Utility Bidder, which began its recruitment process in August in preparation for the relocation this month.
Utility Bidder has built close relationships with the main energy suppliers so it can offer SMEs and larger enterprises low-cost energy contracts. A dedicated consultant and bill validation service are all part of the service.

James said “We are very proud of what we have been able to achieve through offering a service which brings real benefits to business whatever their size and whatever their needs.”

To find out more about the services on offer see the website at www.utilitybidder.co.uk or call 0800 007 4001.
