Looking forward to welcoming new students

BOSWORTH Independent College is looking forward to welcoming its new Year 9 students in September 2018 to begin GCSE courses in a broad and exciting range of subjects.

For the first time the college will take students from age 13 upwards, offering a varied curriculum to keep options open for future GCSE specialisation. In addition to traditional curriculum subjects, Year 9 students will have the chance to sample Psychology, Language Awareness and Personal Finance.

Demand for a GCSE course spread over three years has grown since the recent curriculum changes. Bright and hardworking students are ready to start more rigorous GCSE courses at this age and thrive on the challenge. Also, spreading the course over three years gives more time to develop skills and explore subjects beyond the specification, really bringing them to life.

Bosworth remains a small college and students’ learning is supported by unrivalled pastoral care. Bosworth has a real ‘family feel’- students feel safe and happy and staff quickly get to know them as individuals. As well as achieving outstanding results, the college is proud that students develop independence and respect for others.

The college will continue to welcome students into Year 10 or 11 of the GCSE programme, or intensive one-year GCSE course for students who want to top up their grades.

If you think Bosworth College could be the right environment for your child to flourish and want to find out more, contact Bosworth Independent College on 01604 235090 to arrange a visit.
