Her success is built on years of experience working in the private and public sector including the last nine years in the property team at Corby Borough Council. Now she is putting this extensive knowledge and impressive network of contacts to good use to build her own fully integrated property management and consultancy firm.
Current interests include property management at Corby Business Centre in Eismann Way, an expansive building with a wide range of office spaces and on-site facilities including lifts to all floors and extensive parking. Open days and a flexible approach to leases has seen in just a few months eight new tenants sign new leases and there are ongoing discussions with other businesses from sole traders to larger enterprises.
Spring Property Management is all about new starts and the name was inspired by Linda’s mum May, a former nurse and health visitor, who died last year. The family lived in Corby which has helped Linda grow an enviable local network.
“I believe it is important to build partnerships so there is trust on all sides so any issues can be sorted out as quickly as possible,” said Linda, who also has a growing portfolio of residential, retail and commercial properties across the area. “It helps that often it will be a case of knowing who owns a building or what businesses might be looking for a suitable space.
“It may have only been a few months since setting up the company but it is evident that people are looking for a property management service that takes the time. This has been a great chance to put my experience to good use in a challenging market. I like to do things differently and make a proper commitment to each client.”
