Markets start to spring into life

WE are finally leaving winter behind and welcoming the lighter mornings and evenings.

It’s that time of year when we break out into the garden and start up the lawnmowers and also traditionally tackle some spring cleaning again.

And we normally find that spring invigorates the property market. The sales and lettings markets come to life with a leap of actively as along comes them lighter nights, evening appointments start happening as we all come out of hibernation from the dark winter months.

So, how is the market shaping up so far in 2017? The lettings market has kicked off at a real pace with many properties being let in the first three months, lots of tenants are on the move and several new landlords coming into the marketplace.

So an impressive start has been reported from our managers across Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. I can only see this continuing as the year progresses.

It’s pleasing to see more landlords entering the market again. We all know the benefits of investing in property, with rising rents and property values 2017 is a good year to invest in bricks and mortar.

We recently held a landlord seminar and had a great turn out of clients, guest speakers from accountants, mortgages, investments, insurance and local solicitors spoke to our clients about making the most of their investments. We are looking to further seminars this year too, so keep an eye out on our website and social media pages.

If you are a landlord and you are looking to invest this year, please come and talk to us or contact Mark Manning MARLA on 01604 823445.
