The company is now celebrating 25 years in business and looking forward to continued success from the Market Square offices in Higham Ferrers.
Jon Sidey, who started the chartered practice in 1991, believes it is vital that the team are approachable and offer all aspects of architectural design. An approach recognised when they were named as a regional finalist in the Building Excellence Awards 2016.
The High Street location is also pivotal in the firm’s ongoing success with potential clients encouraged to walk in off the street to discuss their requirements in the design studio.
The team can transform ideas into designs which offer good value to the client and, at the same time, make full use of the latest technology including 3D modelling.
Jon said: “The original concept was to set up an ‘architectural shop’ to break down the barrier that is sometimes seen as an elitist profession. We also have an interiors shop and gallery that displays interior and architectural merchandise as part of this theology.
Projects have ranged from residential housing schemes, individually designed homes, extension and renovations, heritage projects, schools and retail units.
“We take pride in being able to work closely with the local community and have been involved with numerous projects in and around local surrounding towns and villages including conservation areas. This has included works to Chichele College in Higham Ferrers, a Grade 1 Listed Building and Heritage asset that involved working closely with English Heritage.
“We are proud of our track record of excellent design and offering good value. We are very knowledgeable on sustainable design and energy efficiency. Underpinning everything is a commitment to deliver professionalism and reliability. Over the last 25 years we have always been very busy and are proud that we have a lot of repeat business and have been working with some clients for over 20 years.”
