TWO companies based just a few hundred yards apart have been working together to prove that the solution you need is often right there on your doorstep.
Kwiklite, the Brixworth-based lighting specialists have designed and installed a new LED system for near neighbours The Fablink Group.
The Fablink Group is a UK-based manufacturer specialising in the manufacture of metal pressings, operator cab assemblies and complex structures.
As tier one suppliers, Fablink has built a strong reputation in delivering comprehensive design and manufacturing solutions to some of the world’s largest OEMs within the automotive, truck, off-highway, power generation and material handling industries.
Kwiklite managed to successfully win the order for the works on the Brixworth
Quarry Road site, working to a specific remit of producing 750 LUX.
Work at the Brixworth production facility, offices, stairwells and inspection areas has all been completed using LED products that have been engineered and designed to CIBSE standards. This in turn has created a ‘wow’ factor in terms of its visual impact, but also in the pocket. The ROI for the project is just over a year, but not only that, the new LED lighting reduced the annual CO2 consumption of the premises by some 70 tonnes – a staggering amount.
