New networking group

ENTREPRENEUR Alison Mead is the face behind a new lunchtime business networking group launching in Towcester.

Alison, who runs an IT support company Silicon Bullet with her husband Paul, has set up the new group which will be part of the UK’s number one joined up business networking organisation 4Networking.

4Networking (4N) supports thousands of business owners across the UK at over 5,000 events a year and has 250 active groups in England, Wales and Scotland. It was established 11 years ago and all members can visit any group at any time.

Alison said: “I fully believe in the power of networking and I find 4Networking is an organisation which provides the best forum in which to build trusting and long-lasting business relationships. I already manage three groups (Olney, Northampton and Milton Keynes lunch) but felt there was a need for another lunchtime opportunity for business owners and leaders in and around Towcester.”

Alison has been a 4N member for seven months and decided early on to take a more prominent role in the organisation.

She said: “4N has been the backbone of my business. Networking is essential for us and while Paul works in the office, I’m out and about driving our business forward. I also want to do my bit to help make Towcester a thriving small business community by expanding 4N’s networking groups across the area.”

The lunchtime meetings will be held at Towcester Racecourse. The cost is £15 per person. Anyone interested in attending as a visitor needs to book in advance.
