GROWING ever stronger as part of Briggs Equipment, Hitec Lift Trucks in Wellingborough is looking to increase its customer base and its products and services under its new owner.
The Finedon Road Industrial Estate firm was acquired by Briggs earlier this year, but continues to serve its customers across the region under its own name but with the benefits of being part of a large organisation.
Hitec Lift Trucks now represents the Hyster brand of fork-lift trucks, accessing a large range of machines as well as increased opportunities in terms of resources, training and support.
Managing Director of Hitec Lift Trucks, Prospero Girardi, said: “As far as the day-to-day running of the company goes, nothing has changed. Our customers still deal with Hitec and the same personnel they did before. Briggs recognises the importance of local brands and the importance of continuity.

As a company, we can take advantage of the product training, resources and support that being part of Briggs allows us.
“It was important for Hitec to have more investment in order to grow the company and carry on with our long-term goals.”
