Over the last 5 years through a tough recession, ACS has grown consistently and invested in the latest cloud technologies, such as, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Office365, deployed Apple tablets on a one-to-one basis to every colleague in the business, and then proactively moved paper based processes onto our own custom application. Holiday forms, expenses, objectives, engineers job sheets, successes, news, social media, presentations, case studies and more are available to all colleagues on the fly, on their iPad in the office or on the move. ‘It is dramatically changing how we do business. Our Head office will go through a further refurbishment with more presentation technology integrated into the office for ease of collaboration between colleagues, a more relaxed, welcoming reception environment replacing the norm of the last 50 years, more hot desking, more meeting spaces not offices, break out areas and more. It is all about creating a working environment across our locations that our employees want, need and like to work in, improving communication and embracing technologies, to add real value to them and their clients.
