SPIRIT Hyundai Northampton and local military charity SSAFA Northamptonshire are pleased to announce they have formed a partnership.
SSAFA is the oldest UK Armed Forces Charity that provides lifelong support to serving men, women and veterans from the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force and their families or dependents.
It is made up of 92 regional centres and provides practical and emotional support for serving personnel, veterans and military families across the UK. The charity’s bold declaration’Supporting the person behind the uniform, any time they need us, for life’ is good enough reasoning for Spirit and the local community to get behind the charity and show their support.
A core business principle at Spirit Hyundai is to engage with the local community and use our best efforts to support local and regional charitable causes. We have tremendous respect for the work our armed forces do to protect us, our friends and families and of course our democratic way of life. So, through this new partnership, we hope to support the charity and its great cause in any possible way.
The SSAFA-Spirit Hyundai partnership will seek to raise the profile of SSAFA and promote the work they do by raising money for the charity through organising and running local fundraising events.
Spirit Hyundai will use our existing relationship with Northampton Saints by dedicating our popular Saints home-game ticket auction to support the charity. Over the course of the coming months the SSAFA-Spirit Hyundai partnership will be organising many exciting local fundraising events, including golf days, sports dinners, a clay pigeon shoot and much more.
