NEW training company AE Driver Training & Recruitment Ltd who are based on Northampton’s Brackmills Industrial Estate hasjust had their Vulnerable Road User course accredited by Transport for London (TFL).

NEW training company AE Driver Training & Recruitment Ltd who are based on Northampton’s Brackmills Industrial Estate hasjust had their Vulnerable Road User course accredited by Transport for London (TFL). Chris Brown who is the Training Manager said: “For our training course to be recognised by an organisation such as TFL is a real achievement and I am extremely excited about the prospect of assisting local drivers to improve their road safety skills.”

Chris, who has been with the business since earlier this year, originally learnt to drive in the Royal Corps of Transport, only starting his career as a lorry driver when he left the army in 1992. Since joining AE Driver Training & Recruitment he has successfully achieved registration as a DVSA driving instructor, and more recently passed his National Cycling Instructor course. AE Driver Training & Recruitment was formed by business partners Elaine Harries and Syed Ziaullah, the directors of logistics firm Action Express.

The company now has three registered DVSA instructors and offers a complete driver training package to local businesses who want to provide training to existing and new members of staff. JAUPT approved they also run Driver CPC training & Carriage of dangerous goods in limited quantity training courses from their three-acre site in Northampton.
