Rising high for charity

IF you have ever wanted to abseil down Northampton’s tallest building – the Lift Tower – you can now do it for charity.

The Hope Centre is looking for thrill seekers to complete an abseil from the top of the 418ft tower – the tallest permanent abseil tower in the world – while raising funds to support our vital work.

You can register today for just a £45 deposit, and a pledge to raise at least £350 for the Hope Centre, which provides a range of services to address poverty and help the homeless and disadvantaged in Northampton.

The Hope Centre’s Community Fundraiser, Tanya Haji-Miller, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer people the chance to see Northampton from this unique point of view. Whether you are comfortable with heights and are looking for a new challenge, or want to get rid of an existing fear, get in contact with me to book your place.”

The abseil takes place on Saturday 15 July. For more information or to secure your place email
