LOCAL care company, Home Instead Senior Care East Northants, is celebrating its seventh successful year in business. Based in Wellingborough, Home Instead East Northants provides quality home care to people in the local community.
The Home Instead Senior Care team, led by husband and wife team Mark and Rosina Darnell, deliver 13,500 hours of care per month for their 177 clients. Since the caring duo first opened their doors in 2010, they have delivered home care to over 800 clients.
Mark Darnell commented on reaching their seventh birthday: “Since we accepted our first client, our caring business has gone from strength to strength. Our fantastic team of caregivers provide care for many clients in their own homes across Higham Ferrers, Rushden, Wellingborough, and the surrounding areas of East Northamptonshire and North Bedfordshire.”
Mark continued: “We have a team of over 160 caregivers and 16 office staff, a dedicated and passionate group who are all committed to providing quality care to enable older people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible. We are so proud of our team and we couldn’t have reached this milestone without their dedication and hard work.”
The home care company has also made an outstanding contribution to the local community over the past seven years. Free family dementia workshops and talks on fraud prevention occur frequently throughout the year, and the care company is often raising funds for charities including Cransley Hospice, Alzheimer’s Society, British Heart Foundation, Headway East Northants, and Kettering General Hospital, just to name a few.
Rosina Darnell said: “It is really important for us to support charities that directly impact our clients in our own community. Many of our clients are living with dementia or other illnesses and the support these charities provide is invaluable.
